Hi bram! Thanks for putting up this guide, I'm finding it really helpful. I'm having trouble with OpenCL and have followed a very similar path to you, just without those modified kernel files and am wondering if those might be helpful to getting something to actually run. Do you know what the purpose of those were, and where I can find them these days? The link seems to be dead at this point.

Also wondering: have you gotten any closer to that target of +/- 115 GFlops ever since the latest r4p1 userspace drivers were released?

If you are looking for boot.tar, I have put it back on the original link http://livehopper.com/boot.tar

It has been a long time since I last tried to get OpenCL running properly on this board, but given the recent replies to this topics I gave it another try.

This time I used the
Code: Select all
mali-t62x_r5p0-06rel0_linux_1+fbdev
driver. I also had to change the OpenCL header files some more to fix compilation issues related to
Code: Select all
clRetainDevice
and
Code: Select all
clReleaseDevice
.

I get an error as soon as I try to create an OpenCL context:
Code: Select all
Platform: ARM Platform
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'cl::Error'
  what():  clCreateContextFromType
Aborted

Can anyone report a working OpenCL environment where the T628 achieves decent performance?
